A Little About Us...
Hi, my name is Elisabeth and, yes, I know that "E.Klectics" isn't normally spelled as such.  I have spelled it this way because it holds the initials of my first and last name, but still holds to the same sound as the original spelling.
Eclectic definitely describes me and my whimsical nature.  I love taking different sources and combining them to create something that it wasn't meant to be.  In other words, I have become a "Queen of Improvisions".
As a young girl, I was blessed to have parents that didn't give me everything that every other kid had.  Instead I would create my own versions of the latest fad or trend.  In turn, it brought about my God-given talents to create something out of what was around me.
Thrift stores, yard sales, and auctions root deep within my spirit...I love to sift through others "junk...treasures".  Even curbside finds have come about with some wonderful keepsakes.  My family has come up with a description of my decorating style...they call it, "Trash-chic"!
I am very blessed with a wonderful husband of 20 years, and two lovely daughters.  We have always made our home an open canvas for creativity.  My husband is a professional chef...and yes, I'm very spoiled when it comes to the kitchen and cooking.  As they say, kids learn what they see, and that holds true in our home.  Our girls love to cook and work with their hands just like my husband and I do.  You will see their work on here also.
With a home-based business, it has allowed me to be home with our daughters, and this truly is a blessing.  Being able to watch them grow up and to teach them the values of God, home and family is a honor and privilege!
Our Journey...
"SimplyVintage"...
This line of clothing simply came about because of the complaints of my two daughters...Needing to update their wardrobe of casual and dressy clothes, we brainstormed.  The result..."SimplyVintage".
ReCycled fabrics and clothing are so exciting and come without restrictions.  This line has my girls more involved with their take of style and cut of each item.  We make the patterns ourselves and are always on the look-out for new and exciting ideas.  We hope that we will curve your appetite for the reNewed freshness of the fabrics and styles of Yester-Year.

"Whimsical Grace"...
Our handmade accessories are truly Graced with a touch of Whimsy.  With never a shortage of fabric scraps, yarn, beads, buttons, or ribbons around, we find plenty to create this line from.

"BornAgainJeans"...
...came about in the fall of 2006.  With my love of recycling items, I started making jean skirts from worn blue jeans.  At first I was making them for our daughters, but then with the encouragement and interest of my family and friends, I started selling them to others.
Converting the jeans to skirts came naturally to me.  I have had several people say that they made these way back " In the Days", well...it's so wonderful to be creating these unique skirts again in our day!
I love to sit down with a pair of jeans and create around its style.  I never know how a skirt will turn out until the last seam is sewn.  Each and every skirt is "Unique",  "One of a Kind", just like God made each one of us!  My goal is to provide you with a variety of jean skirts that not only are practical and comfortable, but are modest and inspiring to wear.
Occasionally, we will use new jeans, but we still prefer the look of the natural fade and color variations that we get with recycled jeans.
